Community allies, partners & safe spaces
Supportive resources beyond the therapy room.
Healing often happens through a broader network of care. Denver Mental Health Collective values community resources that support inclusive, compassionate, and high-quality care across mental health, nutrition, identity, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
Why community resources matter
- Some needs are best supported by specialised providers.
- Community care can reduce isolation.
- Affirming spaces can support safety and belonging.
- Coordinated support can strengthen therapy work.
Community connection
Trusted support can extend care.
We partner with and refer to community resources when they may support a client?s broader care needs. These resources can complement therapy by offering specialised support, education, and spaces where people feel seen and respected.
Side By Side Nutrition
Side By Side Nutrition is a supportive and affirming space where individuals can receive care from experienced, compassionate dietitians. Their team focuses on eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, body image support, and weight-inclusive nutrition therapy for adolescents and adults.
Their work is rooted in helping clients build self-compassion, acceptance, and trust while creating a healthier and more sustainable relationship with food and body.
